Hanumana, Engrossed in the Lotus Feet of Lord Rama
He alone whose mind is engrossed in the lotus feet of Lord Rama is omniscient (knows everything), is a worthy person and wise. He is an ornament of the globe, is a pandit and so very generous. He alone is devoutly religious and the guardian of his race. A person who discards deceit and worships Lord Raghuvir, he alone is an expert in moral conduct and most intelligent. Only he has fully grasped the reliable doctrine of the Vedas. He is the one who is a poet, is learned  and steady in battle.

The Holy Ganges Flowing Down from Gangotri
Blessed is the land where the holy Ganges flows; blessed is the wife who fulfills the obligation of loyalty to her husband. Blessed is the king who does justice and blessed is the brahmana who does not deflect from his religious and social obligations. Blessed is the wealth which meets the *first fate (is used for some charitable purpose);only that intellect is blessed and fully mature, which is devoted to pious acts. Blessed is that particular time which is spent in associating with saints and only that birth is blessed in which one practises constant religious devotion to the twice-born brahmanas.

Shiva Talks to  Uma of Lord Rama's Bhaktas
Listen, O Uma! Blessed is that family, worthy of reverence for the whole world and most sacred, in which a humble devotee (a dedicated Ram bhakta) of the Lord of the Raghus is born.

Garuda's Intense Affection for Lord Hari
I have told you this tale according to my own intellect, although initially I had kept it secret. When I saw excessive affection for the same in your heart, I narrated the story of Lord Raghuvir to you.

Indra, the King of the Devas
However, this narrative should not be repeated to those who are deceitful (cunning), headstrong and do not attentively listen to the lila or divine play of Lord Hari; nor should it be recited to those who are greedy, hot-tempered and  lustful, who do not worship the Svami of the animate and inanimate creation. It should never be told to one who is hostile towards brahmanas, even if he is a monarch as grandly majestic as Indra (the king of the gods or devas).

Lord of the Raghus is very Dear to His Devotees
Only they have the right to hear Lord Rama's narrative, who are extremely fond of associating with holy men. Those who are lovingly devoted to the feet of their spiritual preceptor, are lovers of moral conduct and servitors of the brahmanas, are fit to hear the tale. And the tale is going to give extreme delight to them for whom the graceful Lord of the Raghus is as dear as life.

Seeking Loving Devotion for the Feet of Lord Rama
He who seeks loving devotion for the feet of Lord Råma or the status of moksha (release from rebirth in the world) should fondly drink in the nectar of this story with the leaf-cups of his ears.(128)

*brahmanas: In Hinduism, the highest three castes of Hindu society are known as twice-born (Dvija) because of the sacred thread ceremony (Upanayana), in which male members are initiated into the second stage of life (ashrama) of a Vedic follower. This sacred thread ceremony is considered to be a type of second birth.

*first fate: Wealth is either devoted to some charitable purpose, squandered on luxurious enjoyment or lost. Evidently the first fate is the best use it is put to. A miser who neither uses it for the service of the needy, nor spends it on his own comforts meets with the third fate which is the worst.
